Feeding Directions:
Life Time Balancer pellets may be fed alone or mixed with grain or chaff. As a guide, growing, breeding and performance horses will require between 0.5kg (0.7 litre) to 1kg (1.4 litres) of Life Time Balancer per day. Life Time Balancer can be fed as the sole feed for horses that do not require extra energy from grain. It should be fed in conjunction with a minimum of 1% of bodyweight (i.e. 5kg for a 500kg horse) of quality roughage such as Equi-chaff or hay for optimal hindgut health. Do not feed more than 2.5kg of additional grain per feed. If young horses gain too much weight or suffer from Developmental Orthopaedic Disease, Life Time Balancer can be fed as the sole feed to slow growth rates while still providing the horse with the necessary protein, vitamins and minerals. Introduce Life Time Balancer to your horse’s diet gradually over a period of 7-10 days.
